How to Disable the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER

This guide is designed for users of the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER and Google's Find Hub app. The UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. Once disabled, it will no longer report to Google's Find Hub network, and the owner won't receive location updates. 

If you receive a notification on your Android device that the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER has been detected nearby, and you are unfamiliar with this device, you can make the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER ring using the system notification you received. After locating the item, follow the steps below to disable it. Once disabled, the device will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts and the owner will not receive any updates on its location. 

To disable the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER:

1. Find the button near the center of the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER.

2. Press and hold the button for about 15 seconds. Then, the device will emit beeps 2 times at 1-second intervals.

3. After about 15 seconds, release the button. UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER will now be disabled and stop sharing its position.

Attention: Once disabled, the device will no longer communicate with the "Find Hub" network

To reactivate the UAG METROPOLIS TRACKER, simply press the device button briefly. Upon successful reactivation, the device will emit two consecutive beeps, confirming that it has been re-enabled and has automatically reconnected to your device.
