I bought the Civilian for my Ultra 2 after not being 100% satisfied with the $70 Active strap. (You can read my review of it with pictures on that product page) I opted for the Civilian. The photos have the strap ends flush with the watch case, which was a big selling point for me. I rocked my stock Apple Watch 5 sport band for 4 years without issue. The Civilian band takes the sport band design up a notch. Not only was it $40 (w/ mil discount) but in my opinion, has a better fit and finish than its more expensive counterpart. The loose part of the strap tucks underneath itself as to not be exposed, which serves a couple of purposes. It snugs the watch to the wrist just a little more if you can’t quiet get it tight enough with the buckle by itself and it removes any excess loops for a true high speed low drag sort of form. The graphite/black is an excellent 2 tone choice for any uniform without seeming dull. I recently ran a 5k with it and had no irritation. This band serves its purpose and then some. 10/10

I've been a big fan of the entire Civilian series for all my devices since it was first introduced, including the watch strap for my Series 6. So, naturally, when I got my Series 10 watch, the first thing I did was order a new Civilian strap for it and I love it as much as all my past Civilians!
